Comprising a rare heavy die-cast silver plate horse harness badge to the Third Goorkhas showing a Guelphic crown over title strap with central strung bugle horn two blank bolt fasteners, a similar die-cast silver plated horse harness badge to The Goorkha Rifles featuring a KC over a rococo title strap with central mount of crossed kukris and a similar item in die-cast white metal, 5th Gurkha Rifles a scarce white metal piper’s plaid brooch featuring a white metal plain quoit this mounted with crossed kukris and a floreated 5 pin fasteners, 2nd/1st Gurkhas a scarce die-stamped white metal cap badge three loop fasteners and an officer’s rare unmarked silver hat(?) badge depicting three kukris enclosing the 1/2 emblem two loop fasteners, 8th Gurkhas three other ranks die-cast bronze hat badges slider fasteners and one pair of similar badges with loop fasteners (one broken), 1st Gurkha Light Infantry Regiment a rare die-stamped brass head-dress badge showing 1 over crossed kukris over a strung bugle horn the two loop fasteners clipped, 1st Gurkha Rifles an officer’s silver coloured metal boss badge mounted on a red cord boss, an other ranks blackened brass head-dress badge loop fasteners (Cox 2577) and two officers’ unmarked silver coloured metal boss badges (one lacking wire fasteners), 2nd Gurkha Rifles two other ranks head-dress badges in blackened gilding metal loop fasteners (Cox 2578) and a similar but smaller head-dress badge in die-cast bronze, 9th Gurkhas two die-cast silver plated head-dress badges fasteners never applied (Cox 2586), 3rd Gurkhas two other ranks die-stamped white metal head-dress badges one with loop fasteners (Cox 2580) and a officer’s rare hallmarked silver (Birmingham 1912) hat badge smaller than the other ranks pattern, 44th Gurkha Rifle Regiment one small blackened brass badge lacking fasteners featuring 44 over crossed kukris, 5th Gurkha Rifles a scarce officer’s silver cap badge being the Royal crest over ‘5’ and crossed kukris two loop fasteners and marked ‘S’ on the reverse; a small badge being crossed kukris with loop fasteners these struck with the lion passant, three further badges showing crossed kukris one in silver plate two in white metal all with loop fasteners; shoulder titles a pair of ‘39’ (one with loops crushed), one only ‘39G’, one only ‘3GR’, a pair of ‘4G’, one only ‘6G’ and ‘8G’, one only ‘XG’ and one only ‘10G’ all in blackened brass all with loop fasteners, good overall condition (40) £400-600
