79th (Cameron Highlanders) Officer’s Plaid Brooch, a very fine unmarked silver example showing a continuous circle of thistle sprays enclosing battle honour scrolls “Peninsula” and “Waterloo”, in the centre the sphinx on a plinth “LXXIX”, stout pin fastener, very good condition £300-500
