Estimate: £2,500–£3,000

Henry IV (1399-1413), Heavy coinage, Quarter-Noble, shield within tressure, small lis above and at sides, annulets on cusps, rev. ornate cross, large pellet in centre, double saltire stops, including after gloria, 1.13g/9h (Schneider –; N –; S –). Slightly creased, otherwise fine or better, a new variety and apparently the only known specimen £2,500-3,000

The fact that there are three lis on the obverse shield instead of four suggests that this might be a mule between a light obverse and a heavy reverse, just as SCBI Schneider 199 may be the opposite mule with a heavy obverse and a lis in the centre of the reverse, normally associated with the light coinage
