Nottinghamshire, Arnold, Davison and Hawksley, Crown, 1791 [issued 1802], in plated copper, fleece suspended from apple-tree, rev. crossed fasces and axe, spear and cap of Liberty, edge plain, 27.78g/6h (DH 1; D & W 338/37). Minor surface marks and a graze in lower field on reverse, otherwise good very fine and toned, extremely rare and possibly the finest known in private hands £1,500-2,000
