Middlesex [Greater Metropolitan area], Hackney, David Rebello, Milton’s Proof Penny, 1796, in silver, church, rev. figure of Time seated on a cabinet, holding a tablet inscribed with Rebello’s name, edge plain, 15.84g/12h (DH 24; Stainton 34). A pocket piece; test mark and other scuffs and scratches in obverse field, several rim nicks, otherwise very fine and toned, extremely rare £500-700
