Gloucestershire, Gloucester, Ottley’s City Pennies (9), all in white metal, revs. Cathedral, 13.27g/12h (DH 12), High Cross, 13.02g/12h (DH 19), New County Gaol, 12.68g/12h (DH 20), St John’s Church, 12.97g/12h (DH 17), St Mary de Crypt Church, 13.58g/12h (DH 13), St Mary de Lode Church, with buttresses, 14.03g/12h (DH 14), St Michael’s Church, 13.58g/12h (DH 15), St Nicholas Church, 12.74g/12h (DH 16), White Friars, 13.27g/12h (DH 18) [9]. A complete set; minor scuffing and DH 20 with spot in reverse field, otherwise generally extremely fine; housed in an original red leather folding holder, inscribed ‘Gloucester Buildings’ in gilt, the case rubbed at extremities but extremely rare £700-900
