Buckinghamshire, Slough, William Till, Proof Halfpenny, 1794, in silver, arms of the Till family, rev. lion rampant to left, edge plain, 11.89g/6h (DH 22; Preston-Morley 1040, this piece). Trifling hairlines, otherwise brilliant mint state with most attractive blue-gold tone, very rare £250-350
