Medals Related to Aviation, France, Navigation Aérienne, 1909, a bronze award plaque by P.-A. Morlon, winged figure of Genius in central panel, biplane to left, airship to right, reverse three panels, man studying birds in flight to left, engineer adjusting an aero engine to right, centre named (Comédie Française pour les Heros de l’Air, Mr. Staats, 15 Novembre 1915), 81 x 58mm (PBE 610; CGMP p.272; BM Acq. 1983-7, p.44, 296; BDM VIII, 78; cf.
