Romania, General Exposition, Bucharest, 1906, yellow bronze plaquette for participation, signed Cisek and Resch, 70 x 57mm, with rounded top; and a yellow bronze prize medal by Carniol, 61mm, both unnamed. About very fine (£30-40)

The Exposition of 1906 marked the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the Roumanian kingdom and also the 50th anniversary of the reign of Carol, first as Prince (1866-1881) and subsequently king (1881-1914). The first medal stresses the latter, the second the former.
