WORLD HISTORICAL MEDALS France, Madame B. Boidin-Puisais, Opera Singer, an interesting group of six prize medals: Société de Concerts - Conservatoire de Musique, bronze medal by Borrel, 1877, in silver (2) 1893, and 1893-4, all named to Mme. Boidin-Puisais; Conservatoire de Musique et Déclamation, 1st prize, bronze, named to Mlle Puisais, 1876, in original box; Exposition Universelle Internationale, 1978, large bronze medal by Oudine, in case of issue, named in gilt on inside lid to Madame Boidin-Puisais “pour services rendus”, Concerts du Trocadero; and Festival de Orphéons, silver medal by Blondelet, in contemporary and perhaps original case; Grand Concours Musical de Poitiers, silver medal, 1885, with rim and loop for suspension, in contemporary and perhaps original case; sold with a signed and inscribed photograph of Madame Boidin-Puisais, dated, January, 1900 [7]. Mostly extremely fine or better, but the Expo 1878 medal cleaned (£350-380)
