A COLLECTION OF 1851 GREAT EXHIBITION MEDALS, Prize medal, 1851, by W. and L.C. Wyon, in bronze, similar, edge named (De Grave, Short & Fanner, Class X), 77mm (BHM 2462; E 1457); together with International Exhibition, 1862, bronze award medal by L.C. Wyon, Britannia surrounded by symbolic figures, reverse legend in wreath, edge named (De Grave, Short & Fanner, Class XIII), 77mm (BHM 2747; E 1553) [2]. About very fine and better, but both have been cleaned in the past (£30-40)
