Masonic Medals, An unusual silver jewel by Kenning & Son, crowned Polish eagle surmounted on cross, reverse engraved “Presented to Bro. P. B. Bridger by the Polish National Lodge 1918”, with ring for suspension, black and white ribbon, and ornamented bar, 52 x 40mm, in black leather case of issue, stamped in gilt on inside lid. Extremely fine (£40-50)

A unusual and intriguing masonic jewel, the reasons for the presentation are not known but in view of the date it is not impossible it is connected in some way with services in the furtherance of the Polish national cause.
