Folio, black half leather morocco, turquoise marbled boards. Bound in 3 volumes with gilt titles on spine as follows: 19th Cent Tokens, Vol. I-III; 18 & 19 Cent Tokens, Pattern Coins, Vol. 4-7; 18 & 19 Cent Tokens, Vol. 8-9. Upwards of 700pp, apparently complete. With signature of H.E. Jacobs and manuscript notes on free endpapers of Vol. I-III; a loosely inserted card refers to the sale of this set for £900 in 1983. An exceptional volume of background information on tokens in the series which the author intended publishing in book form, but he died before completing the project. Bindings worn; extremely rare [3].
