Eight volumes complete, bound in four. Within two brown solander boxes with black leather title label (volumes I-IV and volumes V-VIII). 8vo, pale blue boards with very worn cream spines. Finely engraved frontispiece of ‘History Protecting Medals from the Ravages of Time’. 240 engraved plates, each illustrating both sides of four tokens. The plates are dated from 1795-1797. Interleaved throughout. Preface leaf and James Wright’s 4 page Observations on Coins with vol. 3. 1pp index with vol. 4, 8pp index with vol. 6, 7pp index with vol. 8 (Manville 238b) [Lot]. £400-500
