Miss P. McDonell was commissioned in the A.T.S. on 18 October 1940. She became Temp./Section Commander (Captain) in January 1943, and Major in October 1953. In February 1947 she is shown as second in command of Bushfield Camp, near Winchester, and in 1958 as Recruiting Officer at Oxford.
