Pair: 2nd Lieutenant F. A. Arnold, Royal West Kent Regiment, mortally wounded at Billy Montigny in October 1918

Frederick Arthur Arnold enlisted in the 3/1st Kent Cyclist Battalion in December 1915, and served with them until August 1916 when he transferred to the 11th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment. He was commissioned into the 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, on 26 June 1918, and mortally wounded during the clearing of ‘Billy Montigny, near Lens, on 11 October 1918, and died of his wounds two days later. He is buried in Houchin British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. Sold with further details including copy service papers.
