Ceylon Army Service Corps (9th Company?), a scarce and interesting other ranks brass QVC star pattern helmet plate, the circular centre, applied via three broad tangs bears the unit title and encloses a superimposed ‘9’, two correct pattern brass fasteners to the reverse, the plate with some rubbing to the high points, otherwise very good condition; together with a post-1952 QEC officer’s pouch belt plate in bronze and silver plate to the 2nd King Edward VII Own Gurkha Rifles (The Sirmoor Rifles), bronze ovoid backplate with silver plated mounts, shaped backing plate and four nut and bolt fasteners, mint state (2) £80-120
