Christmas 1914 Gift Tin, Princess Mary’s present to the troops, complete with original tobacco/cigarette contents (one packet holed but full), bullet pencil with Coronet and Cypher, and the greetings card (no photograph); Queen Victoria’s South Africa 1900 coloured chocolate tin (empty), this with a contemporary piece of cardboard inscribed, ‘The Queen’s Chocolate Box as sent to Her Troops in Africa. This Box just received from the Lancashire Regmt with Lord Methuen at Modder River’; a silver lapel badge ‘King and Empire Services Rendered’ and the original War Office certificate dated 2/1/1917 awarded to Mr Joseph Stanfield, 7th Essex Regiment; a card beer mat advertising the 3rd Battalion, East Anglian Regiment (1959-1964), some scratching and rusting to the Boer War chocolate box otherwise good overall condition (6) £80-100
