Volunteer Medical Staff Corps, a very scarce Warrant Officer’s pill box forage cap in stiffened blue cloth with a broad silver and double narrow crimson lace band and a silver lace netted top ornament, complete with narrow leather chin strap, retailed by Messrs Pipe & McGill, Strand WC; an undress white patent leather waist belt mounted with a frog for a sidearm, narrow brass snake fastener; a General’s full dress waist belt of red moroccan leather inlaid with oak leaf design gold lace, complete with sword slings of the same pattern, the circular gilt waist belt clasp with oak leaf finials, circular laurel wreath and a QVC over ‘VR’ centre, the forage cap in excellent condition, white belt cracked and discoloured, oak leaf belt with some oxidising to the lace (3) £100-120
