1812-1816 Officer’s Shako Plate, an extremely fine and scarce copper gilt plate of the ‘General’ or ‘Universal’ pattern (KK21), used by many of the county and local militia regiments, die-struck with raised design and retaining the original long copper loop fasteners, plate retains approx 90% original fire gilt; together with a scarce officer’s die-stamped silver plated Tarleton helmet side badge, c1790-1820, the crown over a circular Garter Proper with ‘GR’ in the centre, the dependent part of the Garter strap missing, the reverse with the five solder bases only for the wire fixings, plating worn (2) £350-450
