1st/60th Duke of York’s Own First Rifle Corps, an excessively rare silver (not HM) pouch belt plate for the period 1825-1829, crowned cross pattern with Peninsula below the crown and the Peninsula battle honours occupying the four arms of the cross, in the centre a strung bugle horn with ‘1st’ over ‘60’ within the strings, title on circle, ‘DUKE OF YORK’S OWN. FIRST RIFLE CORPS’, two bolt fasteners to reverse with contemporary nuts, a very early repair between the top arm of the cross and the centre, not affecting the frontal appearance, otherwise excellent condition £400-600
