Bronze Memorial Plaque, ‘She Died For Freedom and Honour’, inscribed ‘Charlotte Annie Day’, contained in an attractive contemporary carved mahogany display frame, good very fine and rare £800-1000

Miss Charlotte Annie Day a native of St Albans Hertfordshire died of influenza 30 November 1918 at Blandford Camp, Dorset whilst serving with the Women’s Royal Air Force. Sold with four pages of copied service papers and copy of death certificate. She was not entitled to any Great War campaign medals.
