M.M. London Gazette 14 May 1919, awarded for the action on 28 September 1918, when the 18th Battalion led the attack with the Klein Zillebeke Ridge as its first objective. The intermediate objective, the famous Hill 60 and the Caterpillar was taken, but the primary objective proved to be to well and heavily defended and the attack was called off on the evening of 1 October.
