Ex Christies 24 July 1990 where it was attributed to General Sir Charles C. Shute, K.C.B. (1816-1904), served in the Crimea as second in command of the regiment and took part in the Charge of the Heavy Brigade, M.I.D. for Balaclava and recommended for the Victoria Cross.
