26th Foot Regimental Medal 1823, struck in silver, 43mm, obverse, Religion seated on a rock presenting a medal to a soldier, legend ‘Thou Art Worthy, Be Thou Faithful Unto Death’; reverse, crown, thistle, regimental colours ‘Cameronian, 26 Regt.’ and battle honours for ‘Egypt and Corunna’, with attractive hinged straight bar suspension, maker Rundell Bridge & Rundell; together with, Cameronians Regimental School Merit Medal, struck in silver, 43mm, obverse ‘Merit’ within a wreath of thistles, legend ‘Cameronian Regimental School’, reverse plain, with single fixed loop suspension, pawnbrokers mark faintly scratched to reverse, good very fine or better (2) £80-100
