Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (James Stickland, Corpl. (R.M.L.I.) H.M.S. Jackal) edge bruising, very fine £80-100

James Stickland was born in Bellonsborough, Glastonbury, on 14 May 1853. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted into the Royal Marines on 14 May 1872. Promoted to Corporal in February 1880, he was awarded the Long Service Medal in July 1882. Corporal Stickland was invalided from the service on 8 July 1889. With copied service paper.
