Lieutenant (Pilot) Lionel Schufler Punnett was injured on 17 December 1917 when the engine cut out whilst he was flying an SE5A. As a result he was compelled to make a forced landing in a ploughed field, with the result that his machine turned over. Sold with seven pages of copied service papers.
