Private William Charles Sye was born, enlisted and lived at Liverool. He died of wounds France and Flanders 25 May 1915 whilst serving with the 1st battalion, Liverpool Regiment.

Private Henry McCreary Sye was born and enlisted at Liverpool. He was killed in action France and Flanders 10 November 1918 (the day before the Armistice was signed), whilst serving with the 4th battalion, Guards Machine Gun Regiment.
