The group is sold with an original Pass ‘for the purpose of going to the Pyramids,’ dated Cairo, 1st October 1886, and an official copy of an Extract from C.R.E’s orders of 12th October 1885, naming Lce. Corpl. McMurray as having been mentioned as deserving of the special commendation of His Royal Highness for the good service performed during the recent campaign in Egypt and the Soudan.
