13th Lancashire Rifle Volunteers (later 3rd Volunteer Bn. Liverpool Regiment), a very scarce collection of badges (13), comprising an other ranks white metal three part shako plate, QVC over eight-pointed star, the circular mount inscribed ‘Lancashire Rifle Volunteers’, centrally the Rose over ‘13’, two loop fasteners to the reverse; five white metal other ranks tunic buttons; white metal waist belt clasp of 1855 pattern but simply bearing QVC to the centre, plain surround; two cut sections from epaulette straps, navy blue on scarlet ‘13/Lcs.’; and four various proficiency badges, all in silver bullion thread, two on scarlet backing, two on blue, good condition overall (13) £150-200
