The Buffs, Regimental Shooting and Sports Medals (9), including; one in silver, 38mm, hallmarked Birmingham 1928, the obverse with applied regimental crest, the reverse inscribed (Lt. J. G. Nicholson, Adjt. 1928) fitted with rings for suspension, the others mostly named or inscribed; two silver medals, 44mm, ‘Presented to the Band of the 5th Batt. The Buffs, Champion Reed Band of England 1906.7.8, by their friends and neighbours’, both named (A. Picton; E. H. Thorne) one in presentation box; and two small silver medals relating to the Canadian Buffs, for Physical Training and Bayonet Exercise, both unnamed, generally very fine or better (13) £50-80
