Stuart Alexander Charles Dallas, who qualified as a M.R.C.S. and L.R.C.P. in London in 1889, was a Clinical Assistant at the Childrens’ Hospital, Great Ormond Street and an Obstetric Assistant at the University College Hospital, London, prior to joining the Indian Medical Service as a Surgeon Captain in July 1891.
