Ernest Henry Mitchell was born, lived and enlisted at Worthing. Serving in the Household Battalion, he died of wounds on 26 October 1917, aged 27 years. He was buried in Worthing (Braoadwater) Cemetery. He was the son of F. W. Mitchell and husband of Constance Mitchell, of “Westview”, Christchurch Road, Worthing.
