Pair: Private C. Wooding, King’s Royal Rifle Corps, died of wounds, France/Flanders, 2 May 1916

Cecil Wooding was born and lived in Northants and enlisted at Stratford, Essex. He entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 30 July 1915. Serving with the 13th Battalion King’s Royal, Rifle Corps, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 2 May 1916, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Bienvillers Military Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. With copied m.i.c.

Pair to ‘Roe’ with copied m.i.c. showing later service with the Rifle Brigade and entitlement to the General Service Medal with clasp ‘Iraq’.
