Cecil Robert John Bale was born and lived in Walthamstow, Essex and enlisted at Leyton, Essex. Serving in the 21st Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 7 JUne 1917. He was buried in the Bus House Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium.
