Harry Stansfield was born in Manchester, lived in Canonbury and enlisted at London. Serving with the 9th Battalion London Regiment (Queen Victoria’s Rifles), he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 8 July 1917. He was buried in the Hermies Hill British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France.
