Henry Stevenson enlisted at Leicester and was formerly Private 32671 in the Leicestershire Regiment. Serving in the 2nd/4th (Hallamshire) Battalion York & Lancaster Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 17 April 1917. He was buried in the Achiet-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, Pas de Calais, France.
