Albert Edward Taylor was born in Riga, Russia, lived in Crouch End, Middlesex and enlisted at Wood Green, Middlesex. Serving with the 17th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 1 December 1917, aged 29 years. He was buried in the Tincourt New British Cemetery. He was the son of Arthur and Alice Taylor of 6 Albert Street, Riga, Russia.
