Able Seaman Arthur Blamhill (or Bramhill) Turner, Hawke Battalion, R.N. Division, was killed in action in France on 4 February 1917, aged 21 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial. He was the son of Arthur W. and Elizabeth Turner of 158 College Road, Rotherham, Yorkshire.
