Ernest Law was born in St. Michael’s, Northampton and enlisted at Northampton. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 9 May 1915, aged 21 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial. He was the son of Thomas Law of 64 Whitworth Road, Northampton.
