Private Walter Disney Leith Turner, 7th Battalion Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regiment), was killed in action on 3 June 1916, aged 29 years. He was buried in the Aeroplane Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium. He was the only son of Ellen Margaret Turner of 127 Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh and the late Edward Horton Turner.
