Three: Private C. W. Lafuente, Hampshire Regiment, late Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, died of wounds, France/Flanders, 26 June 1915.

Charles William Lafuente was born in Marylebone, London, lived in Brixton, London, and enlisted at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. He served initially with the 2nd Battalion Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Serving with “B” Company, 1st Battalion Hampshire Regiment, he died of wounds on 26 June 1915, aged 36 years. He was buried in the Talana Farm Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium. He was the son of Mrs Elizabeth E. Bromhead of 45 Knowle Road, Brixton, London. With medal forwarding box lid and enclosed slip with damaged registered envelope addressed to Mrs Bromhead.
