Major Lewis Arthur Drake-Brockman, Royal Marine Light Infantry, attached Karelian Regiment, died/was killed in North Russia on 10 May 1919, aged 30 years. He was buried in the Murmansk New British Cemetery. He was the son of Lewis James and Edith Annie Drake-Brockman of 3 Radnor Cliff, Sandgate, Kent. Major Drake-Brockman was the recipient of the Order of St. Stanislaus 2nd Class with swords and the Order of St. Vladimir 4th Class with swords. With copied research on the item and on the recipient and his family.
