422795 Private Donald Kenneth Mackenzie, “A” Company, 29th Battalion Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regiment), was killed in action on 26 September 1916, aged 26 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial. He was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth McCulloch Mackenzie of Fyrish Cottage, Alness, Ross-shire, Scotland.
