William Healy was born in Meath and lived and enlisted at Drogheda. Serving in “D” Company, 1st Battalion Leinster Regiment, he was killed in action in Palestine on 27 December 1917, aged 32 years. He was buried in the Jerusalem War Cemetery. He was the husband of Annie Healy of Beamore Road, Drogheda.
