Thomas Roche was born and lived in Callan, Co. Kilkenny and enlisted at Kilkenny. Serving with “G” Company, 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment, he was killed in action on 7 June 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of John and Hannah Roche of 6 Cottage Green View, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.

Rifleman Henry Debnam, 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, was killed in action on 16 August 1917, aged 28 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. He was the son of Mrs Marie Debnam of 7 Appian Road, Roman Road, Old Ford, London.
