David Hall Todd was taken P.O.W. in North Africa while serving in 74th (Northumbrian) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (Territorials), and died in captivity on 21 July 1944, aged 33 years. He left a widow, Lillian, of South Shields and is buried in Prague War Cemetery.
