Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (Lancelot Jollife Hazard) in card envelope, good very fine £30-40
Lancelot Jollife Hazard was born in and enlisted at Sunderland. Serving with the 19th Battalion Durham Light Infantry, he died of wounds at home, on 10 August 1916, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Sunderland (Bishopwearmouth) Cemetery.
He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth Oxley (formerly Hazard), of 11 Hardwicke Street, Monkwearmouth, Sunderland.
