Pieter Zacharia Fourie served as a Burger in the Lebenberg Commando. He was present in the actions at Elandslaagte, Ladysmith, and others. He was captured at Cyferfontein on 30 November 1901 and held as a prisoner-of-war on St. Helena. With copied medal application form.
