Lawrence Stanley Cayford was born in Islington, London in September 1898 and entered the Royal Navy in October 1914 as a Boy Servant. He subsequently served in the battleship H.M.S. Canada from August 1915 until May 1918, and was accordingly present at Jutland, in addition to gaining advancement to Officer’s Cook 3rd Class in September 1916. He was finally pensioned ashore in the rate of Chief Cook 2nd Class in March 1920; sold with copied service record

George Youers was born in High Wycombe and enlisted into the Royal Marines at Reading in February 1882. As a Private he served aboard the sloop H.M.S. Daphne during the Boer War and was awarded the Queen’s Medal without clasp (the published medal roll lists his name as ‘Yoners’), while in 1914, when serving with the Chatham Battalion, R.M.L.I., he qualified for the 1914 Star with clasp. Youers was demobilised in February 1919; sold with copied service record.

James John Perry was born in Weymouth in July 1902 and entered the Royal Navy as a Boy Artificer on Fisguard in January 1918. He was invalided from the service in July 1920, suffering from fibrosis of the lung; sold with copied service record.

Robert Hedley Noel Ralph died on 28 April 1982, aged 82 years; sold with newspaper clipping announcing his death.

H. J. Counter died on 10 November 1919, while serving in H.M.S. Suffolk. Aged 44 years, he is buried in Kenton (All Saints) Churchyard.

Thomas Page was born in Middleton, Lancashire in July 1883 and entered the Royal Navy as a Junior Attendant in the Auxiliary Sick Berth Reserve in July 1914. On completion of his training in June 1915, he was posted to Crystal Palace, where he served until being demobbed in February 1919.
